Growth Continues for Ad2 Orlando Under New Direction

Orlando, FL— February 20, 2008 - Ad2 Orlando, the local young professional’s chapter of the American Advertising Federation - Orlando, has designated a new President and President-Elect. After three years of service, he organization’s 2007-2008 President, Kate Asaturyan, resigned in December to move to Washington DC. Kristen Zucks, past President-Elect, is now the new President, and the President-Elect position has been filled by Will Royall—former Membership committee co-chair.

Zucks has been with Ad2 Orlando for almost three years. She is a graduate of the University of Florida, and has worked in the Central Florida advertising community for almost five years. Zucks began her career at Fresh Communications, an agency in Longwood; currently she is working as an Account Executive for PUSH in downtown Orlando. Throughout her career, Zucks has worked with a variety of clients including Marriott Vacation Club International, Tijuana Flats Burrito Company, Stanford 20/20 Cricket Tournament, FAIRWINDS Credit Union, Orlando Harley-Davidson, and LUMA on Park. Zucks’ plans for Ad2 Orlando are to continue providing members with opportunities to grow in their careers through continued education, networking and public service.

Royall has played a key role in the growth of the club. While under his tenure as Membership co-chair, Ad2 broke the 100-member barrier: currently having 102 members. He has accomplished everything from being a local DJ and selling records to being the President of his own advertising agency Royall Media, with such clients as Hilton, TGIFriday’s, and Ruth’s Chris Steak House. Royall states that his first order of business, as new President-elect, is to maximize the efficiency of Ad2 Orlando’s membership and programs curriculum.

The transition took place January 18, 2008. Both Zucks and Royall will remain in the positions until June 2009. “I feel that I cannot achieve all the goals I have established for Ad2 with only a six month term,” as stated by Zucks, “I would like to have the opportunity to leave my mark on the organization.”
