The poker apparel and accessories website,, will be making an appearance at the 2008 Gaming Life Expo, and their Mascot might be, as well.

The upcoming 2008 World Series of Poker is expected to be the biggest circuit event, and the same goes for the 2008 Gaming Life Expo (GLE).

The GLE is a trade show where those who attend can expect to find a huge selection of the most recent gaming lifestyle products, cars, liquors and gadgets. The guests are offered to learn from, experience and purchase the newest poker and card playing products on the market, including apparel, jewelry, books, magazines, art and travel. Plus, there will be live entertainment, celebrity appearances and giveaways.

Last year over 50,000 people attended the GLE and more than 100 booths were visited from local, national and international vendors. This year’s theme focuses on “Games and Gear,” featuring poker apparel, products, and guest appearances at booths by various poker stars. The 2008 show certainly has expectations to grow and be even more exciting, especially with certain vendors, such as DonkeyGear, making an appearance.

Royall Media Inc., Orlando Based Advertising Agency Wins Several Communicator Awards for 2008

Royall Media Wins Award of Excellence in Interactive, and Four Awards of Distinction in Video and Print

In the world of media, a very important annual competition (one of the biggest of its kind) has come to an end: The 14th Annual Communicator Awards.

The Communicator Awards is the foremost international awards program, which honors the best works in advertising, corporate communications, public relations, and creative work for print, video, interactive and audio. This past year’s competition received over 8,500 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of largest awards of its kind in the world.

“The incredible quality and diversity of this year’s entries was an inspiration to the academy and all of our judges. The work reflected the rapidly changing media landscape as the growing amounts of interactive work submitted pushed the limits of the medium, and the quality of the traditional work submitted was again remarkable.” -Linda Day, director of the IAVA.

The awards are judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA). The IAVA consists of 200+ members, each a leading professional in visual arts that is dedicated to embracing the progress and evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.

Several of these awards were given to Royall Media, Inc. (RMI); one Award of Excellence for their interactive flash website, ‘West 57th Street’ for Hilton Grand Vacations Company, and four other Awards of Distiniction for projects in interactive, print, and video. The Awards of Distinction were for clients that included Ruth's Chris Steak House as well as Vines Grille and Wine Bar.
