Orlando Marketing and Advertising Agency Shares Media Resources
ORLANDO, FL (August 15, 2008) – Royall Media (RMI), an advertising agency in Orlando, recently selected SHARES, an international outreach program of the Florida Hospital Foundation, as their non-profit client on a pro-bono basis.
SHARES, was established in 1996 by Dr. Thomas W. McKean, Chairman of the Board; Jack Rogers, Co-Founder and Thomas Werner, former President of Florida Hospital. In 1994 Thomas Werner, then President of Florida Hospital, first began to discuss the idea of organizing these international medical programs totally in-house. It was at this time that SHARES was created as an independent division within the Florida Hospital Foundation, Florida Hospital’s charitable arm. In 1996 SHARES launched its first international mission to Tanzania.
SHARES focuses on delivering hope to needy families and children in selected countries through quality health care, education, and training, by partnering with host country health care providers and volunteers. SHARES has two main divisions. The surgical division focuses in providing cleft lip and palate surgery to needy children in Latin America. A team comprised of skilled health care practitioners provides their services and expertise free of charge to people with little or no economic or health care resources within their countries. While one child in 700 is born with a cleft, it is the fourth most common birth defect and the first most common facial birth defect.
As SHARES’ new agency of record, RMI’s job will be to establish a cohesive brand and begin implementing brand management across all media in effort to increase donations, secure volunteers and raise awareness of the organization’s existence through a public service campaign, public relations and marketing resources.
“We feel honored to be able to give our time to such a worthy cause. SHARES is changing the lives of children from around the world,” Abigail Niebch, Account Executive at RMI, explains.
Along with RMI’s donations, there will be public service space provided from advertising mediums and local corporate donations.
While RMI will be working on SHARES’ website, brochure, and other collateral, several RMI employees will also be going to Mexico on a mission trip with SHARES to collect photography and video for the website and collateral.
A documentary will be assembled while they are in Mexico, which will include interviews of previous surgery recipients and video of the team during their efforts to help the children.
RMI is an Orlando based marketing and advertising agency, and since its inception, the company has made a leap outside of the Orlando limits. Having just won several of the 14th Annual Communicator Awards, RMI is entering the second half of 2008 preparing itself for its upcoming projects.
